MARBLE AND NATURAL STONES

Timeless Elegance

Beauty that lasts

Marble comes from limestone rocks, which reach a high degree of crystallization when they reach high temperatures. Its main component is calcium carbonate. After a mechanical cutting and polishing process (without chemicals), marble slabs are obtained. Their size can vary, depending on the quarry where the rock is obtained and the country of origin.

HOW WE DO IT

Our Polishing Process

At Pule y Restaura PR, we honor the method used by marble slab manufacturers to replicate that elegant natural shine.

01

Assessment of the Current Floor Condition
If the slabs are uneven, an aggressive #30 diamond is used to level the surface. On already leveled surfaces, we start with a #100 diamond and continue progressively.

02

Correction of Imperfections
In cases of porous and cracked floors, imperfections are corrected with a special grout.

03

Diamond Steps
Depending on the desired final shine, the number of diamond steps is determined. Example: Matte equals #200 diamond, semi-gloss equals #400 diamond, high gloss equals #1,500 diamond.

04

Sealing
After completing all polishing steps, the surface is thoroughly cleaned, and a high-quality penetrating sealer is applied. This does not form a surface layer, protects, and allows the stone to breathe.
